We determine the design and construction
Each home has its own world, the room has its own design. When choosing a canvas for the wardrobe, facing materials, you need to choose an individual design, their unique design.
Significantly, the choice of design of the canvas is affected by the fullness of the rooms with furniture, style, repairs, wallpaper color, furniture fittings, curtain material, room illumination, room functionality: bedroom, living room, children’s, hallway, kitchen, balcony, office, dressing room, storage room, warehouse.
For the living room facade is made of glossy, wooden materials, warm, light, dark tones. Doors can be made with combined materials: gloss is combined with frosted inserts, wood, mirror, glass. The color is selected according to the color of the furniture.
For the bedroom will suit shades of light, warm colors: white, beige, milky shades, ivory, gray, various shades of wood. Often in the bedroom install inserts from a mirror, a pattern on a glossy base, frosted glass with an ornament on the door area or a small part.
For a children's wardrobe, the coupe is made in bright saturated colors with images of animals, cartoon characters. It is not recommended to insert mirrors in the nursery, in order to avoid the fact that it will break. It is not recommended to use gloss, on such material there can be traces of children's pens that need to be constantly removed.
For the hallway, designers recommend using brown, dark, beige tones, or mirrors that visually increase the boundaries of the room.
For interior sliding doors, preference is given to materials from wooden solid wood, chipboard.
Pictures of flowers, plants, trees, personal photos, animal stickers are added to the design of the canvas.
Door designs are different:
- straight rectangular shape (the most common design, is embedded in free corners, useless niches, along the length of the room, between the rooms);
- oval shape with rounded corners (oval design is considered the most difficult and expensive, but it looks very attractive, skirting various angularities);
- in the entire height of the ceiling - the most common design;
- below the ceiling - used when the ceiling is installed at the time of installation of the sliding structure: stretch, made of plasterboard with an abstract structure, built-in lighting;
- from the lower and upper rail - used for cabinets, separating part of the room, converting space into a small office or storeroom;
- with a suspended structure - used as interior;
- cassette - when part of the structure is hidden in the wall, suitable for separating the space, as the interior.
Calculation of door sizes
To install the doors you need to measure:
- floor height from floor to ceiling
- the length over which the doors will be installed.
If the height of the room is more than 280 centimeters, then the operation of the cabinet with high, heavy doors will be very inconvenient, mechanisms with wheels will quickly wear out, which can lead to unpleasant consequences: loss of doors, jamming, warping. With such a height, it is recommended to divide the cabinet vertically into the main and auxiliary, which serves as a mezzanine.
For example, the height of the room = 300 centimeters, the main cabinet will be 240 centimeters high, auxiliary - 60 centimeters.
When the width of the cabinet is determined, it is necessary to determine how many doors need to be installed. For ease of use it is recommended to install sash widths from 60 to 90 centimeters.
For example, cabinet width = 280 centimeters, then the width of the sash will be 70 centimeters, 4 pieces. We do not forget to add to each leaf a so-called gap of 3 - 5 centimeters so that with a fully closed cabinet there are no gaps.
The optimum ratio of the door width to its height should be considered. The ratio should not be more than 2 to 1, and less than 4 to 1.
For example, height = 200 centimeters, then its width cannot be less than 50 centimeters (4: 1) and more than 100 centimeters (2: 1).
