Here a person is limited only by his own imagination and the availability of the necessary material. Frame options exist countless. You can make it from wooden or plastic spoons, twisted into a tube of old magazines, bamboo skewers for kebabs, metal rods, twigs and other objects that can be easily transformed into something resembling the sun's rays. Since the mirror is more decorative function, you should choose a small diameter.
The easiest way to make it with bamboo sticks, because this option does not require special skills. And at the price this type will be the most attractive.

- thick cardboard;
- 100 bamboo sticks and a length of about 30 cm;
- round mirror;
- paint - spray;
- glue for glue gun;
- brass ring (sold in a specialty store for needlework);
- mount for which the finished product will be hung.
Required Tools
In the process we will need;
- glue gun;
- scissors;
- small handsaw;
- sandpaper;
- compass;
- ruler;
- pencil.
Manufacturing process: step by step instructions
Step 1. Prepare the stencil
Cut a sheet of paper in a form that fully coincides with the mirror. It should make a circle. We find the center and from it to the edge we draw straight lines. As a result, we form 24 sections of equal size. Inside the large circle, we draw a small one, retreating from the edge of 2.5 or 3 cm. We will lay the rays along the straight lines.
Stencil ready. It remains only to transfer the finished drawing to cardboard. Cut out of it another circle of the same size.
Step 2. Cooking bamboo sticks
A set of sticks divide by 4 piles. Each has 24 pieces. Then they will serve to create the rays.
The first group of sticks-rays leave the original size and set aside. The second group is shortened by 7 cm. The third group is cut by 10 cm. And the fourth group - by 13 cm.
It is necessary to cut off the sharp edges of all sticks and polish them with emery paper.
Step 3. Glue the rays
We glue the longest rays from the center of the circle according to the prepared pattern. It is more convenient and faster to use a glue gun. After we take the second set of shortened sticks and glue it not from the center of the circle, but from the edge of the second, inner circle. Similarly, we work with the third and fourth piles.
Step 4. Before gluing the missing elements, it is necessary to paint the rays.
In this master class, paint of golden color was used. After painting, wait for the right amount of time to dry completely.
Step 5. We assemble the finished product
We glue the mirror over the finished beams so that its edges completely coincide with the cardboard blank. After that you can glue the brass ring. Important advice: it is better if the diameter of the ring is slightly larger than the diameter of the mirror. Then the work will be more accurate.
On the back of the finished product glue attachment.
Step 6. Dressing
To place a similar piece of art is appropriate in a baroque or modern room. It is desirable that the wall was monophonic or with inconspicuous, small-sized pattern. Today, the mirror performs as its usual function, and decorative. Therefore, an excellent option would be to hang it in a small bright room to visually expand the space. Other decorations in the form of candles in metal candlesticks, antique vases, etc. can serve as an addition to it in the interior.
So, using this master class as an example, you have become convinced that creating a mirror with your own hands will not be difficult. Today, designers come up with a lot of ideas for the design of the frame of the product. After all, this is one of the ways to give the interior refinement and set the desired atmosphere.
