Types of pickups for curtains on the material
Foamiran draperies
Foamiran flowers are a great addition to any interior. You can make them using the basic color palette of the room or by emphasizing a contrasting color, adding to this color also other interior details (pillows, vases, puffs, photo frames). Just choose the shape of a flower, a bouquet that you like more or copy from the scheme. Need to make patterns of petals, as well as, if desired, leaves of different shapes. To fix the parts need hot glue.
Luxurious bead curtain holders
Beads can be easily combined with the texture of the fabric, it looks natural on the curtains. Beaded accessories are very easy to create and give a special look to the drapery. If you do not have an accessory for curtains, you need to choose a fabric. The fabric can be crepe with satin lining or velvet. Most importantly, you need beads. It is much easier to use a finished bead ribbon or large beads. Create your own unique pattern and sew a beaded ribbon to the fabric. Instead of beads or crystals, you can add sea shells, creating elegant holders.
Jeweled Tie
“As a charity, glamor should start at home,” said American actress Loretta Young.
If you have a big funky necklace, use it as a stunning accessory for fabric blinds.
Crochet baby tack "Monkey"
This charming knitted monkey of yellow and purple color harmoniously complements the interior of the children's room. Use a crocheted toy or knit a new pattern, choosing matching colors with the interior.
Fashionable floral knitted curtain sticking
To firmly hold the curtain used ribbon, crocheted, tied with a fancy knot.
IMPORTANT! It is not required to drill the walls or fix the hooks. Does not require fixing to the wall.
Holders for curtains do it yourself
If you sewed the curtains, but you still have the fabric, you can sew the fabric holder with your own hands with the remnants of the fabric. The accessory of the same color looks like a classic solution when finishing the window. Use the pattern below to carry out this bold project.
Description of the order of sewing strings
As a simple sewing project, the curtain ties make it easy for novice seamstresses to learn all the details of a sewing machine.
Things you need.
- Soft, flexible tape measure
- 45 cm of fabric in tone curtains or in a contrasting color.
- Folding board
- Scissors
- Garment-tone yarn
- Sewing machine
- Hand Sewing Needle
- Wooden or metal rings (optional)
- Pins.
- Pull off each curtain and hold it in a position that indicates where you plan to install the mount. Hold one end of the soft tape measure against the wall where the hook will be. Gently wrap the tape measure around the curtain. Remember the footage. You can adjust the degree of inclination - the curtain may be looser or stretched, depending on the desired look.
- Add 3 cm to the length of the ribbon. For example, if you measured 40 cm, cut a strip of 43 cm to hem the fabric at both ends. Calculate the desired width of the garter. For example, if you want a 5 cm wide strip, you will need 10 cm + 2.5 cm for a hem.
- Place the fabric on the board. Mark the length with a pin at the top, and the width at the top, bottom, and middle point. Cut long rectangular. Use the first cutout of the fabric as a pattern for the second, laying on top of the fabric and cutting around.
- Fold the ribbon in half with the right sides together and sew a straight stitch 3 cm from the edge of the sewing machine, following the markings on the bottom plate under the fabric. At both ends, press the reverse button on the sewing machine to go back with your stitches. This blocks the end seams and prevents them from breaking. Sew one end in the same way as the side seam, reversing the machine at both edges to secure the seams.
- Cut the edge within 1cm from the stitching. Turn the garter inside out, but bend the open end over the stitched piece, lowering it until the screed is on the right side.
- Fold the 3 cm under the not sewn edge. Lock it in place and close it manually with small lines to complete the return. Repeat the sewing steps for the second binding.
- To create a loop, follow the procedure for your sewing machine, since it requires you to add a special fastener for the foot to the machine. If you do not want to create loops, simply manually sew two metal or wooden rings at both ends of the mount. They are available at fabric stores.
Note! Remove all pins during sewing, as the needle may break if it hits them.

How to sew holders of satin ribbons.
Silk flowers ribbon
Go to the fabric store in search of a satin ribbon to sew a floral garter. Choose huge flowers that are consistent with the color palette of the room. Suitable flowers include hydrangeas, pompons, dahlias and peonies. Just cut the flower from the stem. Put a little hot glue on the base of the flower, attach to the tape.
Pickups for magnet curtains
Magnetic string
Magnetic holders - alternative to fabric. Think outside the box to make a shiny magnetic curtain holder. It is not as difficult as it seems. Just a couple of magnets glued to the ends of the tape. It is necessary to take into account the ratio of the size of the magnets to the density of curtains. A magnetic accessory is better suited for centering a curtain, rather than a side curtain.
