- On the bottom edge, you also need to make a double bend, but already 1.5 cm wide. Then sew.
- The next step is to make markup festoons. Important! They should be placed at an equal distance from each other across the entire width of the cloth. (If you look at the table above, you can see that the width of the scallops directly depends on the width of the fabric. Therefore, based on the table, make the markup).
- Then, using a prepared cloth, draw out the curtain drawers. For this, sew the cloth data to the marking point (bending it by 2-3 cm).
- Special cords must be passed through the ready-made drawers (you can use a braid, a ribbon or a decorative rope to match the color of the curtains). Later, when the curtains are ready, you can adjust the length of the curtains with this cord.
- Also, if you buy special rings, you can hang festoons on them. Rings are attached to the fabric at a distance of 15-20 cm from each other along the entire length of the cloth.
- The cord should allow easy adjustment of the height of the curtain. When lifting, scallops should form light and airy semicircular folds. To the upper edge of the curtains must sew a thick braid. To use it to attach curtains on the rod.
- After fixing the curtains on the rod / cornice, adjust the length of the curtains.
