The fabrics used for its production are very delicate in use. They are less strong than curtains. A tulle fabric, often separated from the weave of cotton and silk threads, interspersed with various additions to create a pattern. The corporal, and more often the pure white color of the canvas, is subject to ingress of dust, splashes and other variants of its pollution. Hand wash tulle

The process consists of the following steps:
- Similar to washing the tulle in a washing machine, the tulle removed from the eaves must be gently shaken off the dust that has accumulated on it and other solid dirt.
- It is necessary to pre-soak the tulle in water corresponding to the type of fabric for 30 to 60 minutes. This will allow to partially get rid of dirty places and, at a minimum, dilute them.
- Directly washing is done with gentle movements in order not to damage the canvas.

Important! Do not wash the tulle cloths more often four times a year! For cleaning, you can use a conventional vacuum cleaner.
Additional Information. If after washing the fabric has shrunk, it has turned out folds, it is recommended to rinse it in a solution of ammonia and hydrogen peroxide. Ingredients: per ten liters of water is added to the composition (in st. Spoons): 2/1 peroxide and ammonia. Soaked for 20 minutes, then hung without spin on the cornice or drying bar.
How to wash the old tulle, worn or long lay
In addition to the main problem - refreshing tulle at home, sometimes it is necessary to restore the whiteness of the old canvas, or too dirty. The main advice on how to wash the tulle is to appeal to folk remedies, as more benign and proven by generations.
- Using ammonia and peroxide in a thicker version for pre-soaking. The composition (in milliliters) of 40/20 (peroxide / ammonia) to 6 liters of warm (no more than 40 degrees) water. Soak for 20-40 minutes, depending on the contamination.
Additional Information. For local spots, one hydrogen peroxide is used, in which it is worth soaking the stain for 10 minutes.
- Use of a chlorinated bleach, such as "Whiteness". On a bucket of warm (30-degree) water use 3 caps of bleach. The soaking period is 60 minutes. After that, you need to shake the fabric and put in a washing machine or wash by hand.
- For rinsing, you can use the composition of sea salt (2 tablespoons) and green stuff (13 drops), previously dissolved in 0.5 liters of warm water. It is necessary to ensure that the sediment (undissolved parts of the mixture) does not remain at the bottom. Before using, during the last rinsing, it is necessary to filter the mixture from the sediment, otherwise green spots may appear on the canvas.
Important! It is necessary to impregnate the fabric with this composition.
- For soaking tulle, a mixture of baking soda and laundry detergent is used (50 gr. / 100 gr.). It is necessary to achieve its complete dissolution in a basin of warm water. The time of pre-soaking is about 30 minutes.
- The usual food salt used at soaking before washing allows to remove yellowness (grayness) from tulle. Composition: 9 liters of water - 5 tbsp. spoons of salt.
- Tar soap or laundry soap is a good stain remover for delicate fabrics. Ten liters of hot water uses half a bar of soap. After cooling the water to the desired (30 degrees) temperature in the pelvis, the tulle is soaked for 60 minutes. You can also boil the tulle in this solution.
Important! Boiling, “boiling” tissue is not a safe bleaching agent. The structure of the tissue may be damaged, which will reduce its useful life.
- Use stain remover for yellowed curtains. On the market there are many types of chemical stain removers, different in their composition and price.The main thing is a careful reading of the manufacturer's recommendations on the consistency of using products for different fabrics. Stain remover is used both for local cleansing from stains, and for general pre-soaking. The limitation is to avoid direct sunlight on the wet cloth during drying.
- For washing rust stains, 9% vinegar (2 tablespoons per cup of water), which must be heated to 90 degrees, is an effective remedy. The stain is lowered into the resulting liquid, then rinsed in warm water with ammonia (1 tbsp to 2 liters of water).
- From rust stains helps soaking in acids (oxalic, citric, formic). Composition 20 gr. acid to a glass of hot water.
Important! Wear rubber gloves when using vinegar or acid to prevent burns.
